Amanda Chuk, Pharm.D., BCPS
Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Adult Critical Care

DHMC provides a truly unique work environment: a teaching hospital in a beautiful rural setting in New England. The people are some of the friendliest I have ever met, and the Upper Valley really is a great place to live and work.

I work here because I believe that DHMC is a place where I can make a real impact on patient care - it is a teaching institution that is not so large that my contribution gets lost but rather one where my voice and input can be heard and put into action.

Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, Critical Care Services

We are a teaching hospital in a beautiful rural area with great schools. My children have grown up being able to ride their bikes around the town and in the woods, ski on Friday afternoons with their school in winter, and find competitive club sports.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock is the most collegial hospital I have seen. In some hospitals, drug information or formulary reviews for P&T are the work reserved for specialists. Here, any pharmacist can get involved in a project or committee that interests them. All the pharmacists are involved providing educational programs and all contribute to quality improvement in the hospital.
